About Brytin Steadman
Sixteen year old Brytin Steadman is from a ranch north of Miles City, Montana. As every Montanan, Brytin knows and appreciates the value of hard work on the farm and ranch. It was her dedication and hard work that led her to a deep appreciation of the animals that have served ranchers for centuries: horses. Her appreciation turned into the core of her dreams for the future. Brytin is now partnered with an old cowboy and longtime horse rancher outside of Jordan, Montana named Doug Weeding. Doug and Brytin have embarked on a new journey together – Weeding Performance Horses. Weeding Horses’ goal is to breed and raise horses they are proud of, and to share them with others.
About Doug Weeding
Doug Weeding is a genuine Montana cowboy. Doug and his wife, Lavetta, have always lived and worked on the family ranch, where they raised their three kids and started a comprehensive horse breeding program. Doug knows horses and he knows ranching – and he wanted to start a line of horses that were well built, level headed, athletic and came from proven blood lines. It was then, in the beginning, that Doug started the lofty task of breeding to achieve his two current stallions. Stallions which exemplify and demonstrate every desirable trait for a working horse. It is these two magnificent stallions upon which the Weeding Performance Horses line is built.
